Your Statement On Your Credit Report
For those who may have one period of time that you lost your hold on your credit, this note is for you.
I was just at my bank the other day and picked up a little Credit brochure and read that you can file a statement in your credit bureau record.
It can be up to 100 words that can describe why you may have a single bad ding on your report.
It will become part of your credit report and must be shown to all lenders who request your file.
also, lenders that care will ask you. working at the bank i was amazed to find we want verbal explanation for past things, but nothing more. The customer could make up an elaborate story and so on. it does make a difference though
