Worksite CD

Trying this post again. Does anyone know where I can obtain the Worksite CD (also known as Pro-CD) that used to be available at Home Depot? I'm a newbie and have been told that this CD has prices for materials offered by Home Depot.

Thanks,

Deb

They sent me a book of their inventory (without request). However, I have never seen the CD. Did you try their Wsite?

Call the commercial sales dept. at Home Depot and ask if they have it available.

Not sure if this helps...but did a search and found this:

Home Depot Targeting Pros With Worksite CD

The Home Depot is offering a free "Worksite CD" to qualified professional customers including contractors, purchasing agents, government agencies, school districts and architects, available at the PRO desk in its stores nationwide.

The new CD offers online ordering and product images. Professional customers can search for products by category, description and SKU. By entering a local zip code, the customer can view up-to-date pricing from a local Home Depot store and use it to estimate job orders with the National Estimator program from Craftsman Book Co. Also, estimates can be downloaded to Intuit's QuickBooks Pro accounting software to create bids and invoices.

The PRO desk in Home Depot stores is a designated service area for the professional customer, with extended hours, job quantities in stock, flexible commercial credit, order pick-up and jobsite delivery.

Thanks to all who replied. I had already tried speaking with various Home Depots throughout Virginia, checked their corporate website, and even spoken with someone in their corporate office who referred me to their vendor. Bottom line: No one knows when these are going to be distributed. As soon as I find out or as soon as I obtain one, I'll post a follow up.

I walked into my nearest Home Depot abut a month ago (Atlanta, GA Area) and went to the commercial service desk and asked for it. They reached under the counter and gave me a Worksite CD and a ProBook CD.
He knew just what I was asking for.

I have had the ProBook CD for about a year now. When I was first looking for it in my local Home Depot store, the folks at the customer service counter did not know what I was talking about.

The Pro Desk (Contractor Desk/Counter) at the end of the store had them on the counter in a "take one" display . About six months ago, I went back and asked for the Worksite CD. This time the CD was under the counter. Be persistent.

Hi, I walked into the Home Depot in Fairfax City and had two results in the same day:

1st - Walked up to the customer service desk where I was told there was no such CD and never will be but I was more than welcome to go through their "coupon paper." :-?

2nd - I walked to the other side of the store to the "contractors" desk (over by the big garage door). The gentleman there reached across a counter and handed me the CD. :-D

I guess the lesson is that some of their employees are not totally aware.

    Good Luck!

You can check at the Prodesk which is different than the customer service desk.

If you can't find there, then you might try mailto:probook@costbook.com

    Best of luck

I picked mine up at the pro desk. If any one just cant find one locally I'd be happy to burn a copy and send it to you if you cover the cost of the blank cd and shipping.
