Wondering About Forclosures
hey all, im wondering if i find a forclosure that i like, say like on http://www.hud.com . what do i do next. is it like a bidding process/ or do you file for a mortgage like a regular bought home ? the reason i ask is that im thinking about getting the 3 day trial on www.hud.com so i can see what homes there are out there, and on monday im going to hit up the county clerk for info. where else can i find info on homes for forclosures that is free ? and 3rd is there a site that offers you search of homes owners by address search. thankyou all [ Edited by nj593 on Date 07/13/2003 ]
Try your local court house and public notices. Unlike the 1980's I find that properties that already have reverted back to HUD to be real close to market value. The idea is to get them before this point.
Hi ... You shouldn't have to sign up to find out about HUD properties, or any other government properties, try this link.
Sorry, I guess this site won't let me post links until I am a freshman investor. I tried!

Why dont you try goldenfeather . com
they update every friday (or thursday midnite). its free and see if you see a property you like.
find an agent that deals w/ HUD and ask to put a bid on a property.

I wouldn't waste any more of my time on HUD homes unless you are going to hold on to the property for a while.
