Check with local new/used appiance stores. You can look at scratch and dent just make sure the scratches/dents are hidden. Used appliance shops are good for inexpensive appliances and they also have "new" refurbished units that look new at a good discount.
Best thing is to check the local shops (here in Tampa I like Tate). Ask them for the builders grade as you will get stainless steel that looks great for less money. Last I can recall we got fridge/stove/dishwasher (matching stainless steel) for $1500.
As for buying bulk, do as above and negotiate since you are buying 18 of everything. They should cut breaks.
as with any "third prong safety ground", if the power shorts to the chassis, there is a shock hazzard if someone touchs the chassis.
Thanks cjmazur, any other hazards besides that?
I did a web search and found things on the east coast that were cheaper than CA store including tax shipping.
I get appliances for my rentals from used appliance stores. They usually have like new stainless at a good discount.
