will I need classes?
I'm a fledging investor. I own a rental property, and I am considering flipping a property. I've read tons of books, but the problem is that I still don't feel 100% confident in my knowledge of the real estate process. I was thinking of taking a six-week course to get my real estate license. I don't want to become an agent, but I want more education that what I get from books. Would going to real estate school benefit me? Or should I stop be tentative and move forward?
Learning to become a real estate agent will only teach you the conventional way of thinking. Being a real estate investor, you need to think creatively. I would not waste my time or money going to those classes if I were you. You can always get in touch with a closing agent (either title company or real estate attorney). Explain to them that you just started a real estate investment business and you are not sure what to do next. Would it be ok if you brought them to lunch so that you can discuss business together? Let them talk, ask questions, etc.
If you find a good closing agent who likes to talk/brag, then they'll tell you everything you need to know. Just act like intrigued with everything they have to say.

If your looking for knowledge about crei, do not waste your money with R.E classes. They do not teach anything on the subject. I know I have a realtor's license. I didnt start to do crei until after.
