Why?
Could someone please tell me why the posts by user eak185 (legal action from seller, and potential legal action from seller) were locked?
Here is a complete idiot giving REI a bad name because a deal went bad on him because he didn't take the time to make sure it was really a deal. Now he simply wants to give it back to the seller.
Personally, I saw no reason that it should be locked, but it would be better to just delete entirely than leave that crap up there for the newbies to see.

Roger,
It is my hand in the cookie jar. However if you notice these are duplicate posts, so I felt one or both had to go, but which one or both?
Roger your call on this one, because both had some pro's and con's, do we leave one to show what happens when you get stupid for the new person or delete both for the sake of it reflects on the industry.
Roger, my finger is on the delete button, I have my second finger in reserve in case both have to go. Of course after I locked the two posts I completely forgot they were still up there, old age Raj you will get there too.

You're right, they were dups. The reason that i left both up is because DaveT had given an excellent answer on one, but it seemed that the other got more responses.
It's obvious from this guys responses that he didn't learn anything from us giving our opinions to him. I'd like to hear his story in a few months though, when that seller sues him for performance/damages. Be interesting to see if that attorney that gave him advice will still be there then.
But back to the topic. My opinion, it would be better just to delete them. Some newbie is going to read them and think that it is okay to just drop a property back into the seller's lap the minute something goes wrong. If this website is here to provide the best information possible, then these posts aren't it.
But if others have opinions let us know.
Roger
Roger,
The vote is over and the Ayes won, so they are gone.
