Why Bother Asking Me Questions?

I have had several people ask me questions or tell me that they are interested in getting a deal together with me. I will either ask them a question or answer their question and then they never respond. I am looking for investors. Yet, when people email me and tell me they are interested. I say, great. I email them and tell them I will work with them. Never a response back.
I just don't understand.... downer

just allow them (not saying you haven't already) a good couple weeks to really have time to get with you. this stuff is eats a lot of time and some people can't just stop the bustle to make a call or return an email until they get to a stopping point - which could take a while. this is a time-sensitive biz and if certain stuff isn't addressed at a certain time, people don't eat! (so to speak)

some, as well, probably just would like to use/help you but just never will get around to it - just the truth - it's happened to me a million times, i just as soon do what i can myself and won't wait/rely on anyone else to feed me. BUT, i won't burn bridges, i'll just leave the ball in thier court and keep moving.

please just be patient and send off a couple reminders to them that you're ready when they are and leave a few contacts, email, phone, cell to make it easy.

Thanks Jackman, I thought that it was just me. I guess I'm more on the aggressive side and want to do things here and now. Thanks for the advice.

    Hey,

The truth is lots and lots and lots of people like to dream, but when nap time is over, they never DO anything about it.

Don't let it get you down.

You are going to have that, sometimes lots of that...so just take it with a grain of salt (god, sound like my dad) and just find others.

Your right Bruce, I guess there are more people that dream instead of do. I guess they start to pursue and then get afraid of moving forward, since I am so willing to jump on whatever is out there. Well, I guess that's o.k. I personally don't have time for procrastinators or people who are in la la land. I'll be in la la land after my millions. Then I'll sit back and join the dream. <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif"> [ Edited by tnachieve on Date 11/05/2003 ]

    hey,

You are going to be a millionaire!! You have the correct attitude.

  • tnachieve6th November, 2003

Thanks. I know I will...it's just a matter of time. My goals that I wrote up and have $1,000,000.00 dollar (looks real) posted up to remind me and not get off track that I have a goal to pursue and nothing will stop me.

It's called being a wanna be! there of those of us who do this for a living and those of us who go to seminars and think they know it all. market yourself everyday and you won't have to waste time on babysitting the wanna be's. You will have enough business to give them one strike and their out!
