Why Are They Accusing Me Of 3rd Party Help?
I just disputed a good many mistakes (over 30!) to all 3 CRAs.
I got several replies, "We do not accept disputes from third parties"...
I'm NOT using a 3rd party! Is it because I typed it? Is it because I used my printer to print out the address labels?? I mean, I had over THIRTY to write... Do you have to hand write them to get them to believe it is you? How do I get around this?

Call them up. It is common.
It is common. It's also common for them to just pretend they've verified when they actually did nothing. If you like, you can call them or write and make it clear you're not using a CRO. However, even if you do nothing right now, their silly little note does not releive them of their legal obligation to investigate.
If they do nothing by the end of the 30 days, then your next letter will be stronger, reference the first, and tell them that they have already been in violation, and you demand that they remove ALL of the listed items as they failed to verify in the time allowed by law.
Will they delete all those items? Not bloody likely, but it's not ALL grim. Sometimes they WILL do what they're supposed to. Most times they WON'T.
It's a numbers game. Just keep throwing out that jab. Establish a paper trail. Eventually, even if they don't cooperate at all, there will come a point where if they know you're willing to sue, they'd rather do their job than have to pay you $1k per violation plus legal fees.
I got the same letter from all 3 on my first round. I'm in the middle of round 2 right now, and very little has shaken loose... but my EXP Fico wen up 20pts this month.
