property searching
I'm just starting out in REI and was wondering if its better to do all the property searching yourself or have a bird-dog working with you? I live in the bay area and would like to find some bird-doggers or some good sites for searching.
The sites I've been searching on are kind of difficult to read and understand since i'm new to the game. How do I know that the info I find is all up to date? I found one home that looked good but then found out it was already sold. I have an investor who just loans money and is willing to work with me. His thing is to just put up the cash, not get involved with the dealing with the sellers. He's pretty much just the bank. So, any advice would be appreciated. I'm looking to find my first deal and get my feet wet.
