    AntMan,

    Glad to meet you.

Now that is a very interesting question, I see you will go far in creative real estate investing, how many pages in the book?

Not how much support does he offer, does he give you his cell phone number if you have a question and need help right away. How about does he have a website devoted to subject to investing where you can ask questions and get answers. Or maybe does he offer one on one mentoring via 24/7 email FREE on a lifetime basis.

But, how many pages in the manual?

Anthony, do me a favor stick with Mr. Sheets $64 buck book off of e-bay. Let me know how you do.

Hey John, he must want to pay by the weight. Just add a thousand pages of paper to the book and ask him to pay for shipment. If he judges a book by the amount of pages then give him what he wants. LOL

That was the best question that I have ever seen. Sorry to make fun but there is soooo much more to a book than the amount of pages. In my opinion, the smaller the book the better. If the author can convey me the information in less pages then it will be easier for me to understand and quicker to grasp.

I would pay double for Johns manual because I know he will be there for any questions. The manual is worth more than the amount he charges but add in the support then you have a mentor for 160 bucks. Good luck getting Mr Sheets on the phone when you have a question on a deal.

    Good Luck,

    Tom

The book is great, it's definitely worth the money. I can vouch for John's promises, he always answers when I call, and always responds to e-mails fast. If your looking to do subject to deals his course is worth the price 10 times over. Just my two bits.

    Andy & Tom,

Thank you guys, I probably should not have been so tough on Anthony, but asking about the number of pages just got to me.

I really need to get to Florida and do some fishing, hope there are enough fish in the ocean like pages in a book.

    Hey Antman,
Ever hear the saying "It's Quality Not Quantity that counts" or "Its not the size of the ship, it's the wave it creates"

Sorry John I never had the chance to tell you THANKS SO MUCH! I ordered your Big Bucks Bird Dogging Ebook! WOW I was AMAZED at much information you were able to give in such a SMALL amount of space. What a whopping 34 pgs of superior startup info. for a startup investor. That is what I call ALL CRAB MEAT, NO FILLER. THANKS JOHN!

And hey Antman, you should wize up before you speak, there are many pros on this website willing to help the NEWBIES with VERY useful and actually Very priceless information.
    Regards,
    Brian

Whoah..... I think I got off on the wrong foot here. I'm well aware of the VALUE of the manual as everyone speaks so highly of it. I'm going to order it on that alone. John... relax... no harm meant.
I was just asking out of curiousity that's all. I have always been one to ask questions from all angles.

    Peace,
    Anthony

    Anthony,

Having the guts to come back online after asking THAT question and getting THOSE responses means something to me. You'll probably actually make it in REI with that kind of tanacity.

PS let me know what page you like the best after you've read the book.

    good luck

    Roger

Anthony, what exactly are you looking for in education material? I am glad that you ask questions and no one here wants you to stop asking questions. Maybe you should read more posts here and decide what type of investing will fit your needs and situation currently. You can always expand your arsenal with time. Just pick something and concentrate on it where you will be able to answer just about any questions on this forum. I am just not sure what you are looking for with a question like that.

All you would need is John's manual to get started. He becomes your mentor when you buy the course. There is a web site for his students where questions are answered. I believe that you can get started by purchasing his manual and be very successful.

    Good Luck,

    Thanks for the comments.

I'll lurk a little longer and absorb as much as I can. As far as me making it in real estate and other avenues... I most definitly will... I don't have a choice.

    Peace,
    Anthony

    Anthony,

No problem, how much money do you have I am thinking of raising the price of my course? Maybe charge by the page, so if you don't have all the money I would send you the pages you can afford then you could buy the rest later on.

Just funning with you Anthony, you will do fine in this business.

Anthony, there is no such thing as a stupid question. I think you have found that the people on this site are "no holds bared" when asked for comments or replys. There is no doubt in my mind that you will succeed in REI. Please do get John's manual. There is no way to describe the meaningful content to you where it makes real sense to you until it is actually in your hands. You will find no other more simplistic manuals or courses out there that can even come close to John's. That's just in content. As far as value goes just to quote; "You can have my Sub2 manual when you pry it from my cold dead fingers" starts to get close to my true feelings about this manual and of John himself. Everyone is here to help you succeed Anthony. Welcome aboard and keep posting. Happy investing, Brett <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_eek.gif"> [ Edited by BattleBorn on Date 06/19/2003 ]

I just want to say about this about John's sub2 manual. I literally take this thing in every room I go through out the day, even out to the deck. Everytime I have a question or just want to read, it's there and I jot down questions on the yellow pad. This method has excited me much more so than all the other books I read combined.
