Can I?

I went to the lawyers office on tuesday and he supplied me with a contract of sale which they use in my state and i notice some words that benifits the seller not the buyer and also the contract says "NO ASSIGNMENT". My question is can i change some of the wording in the contract? and also when i do a double or simultaneous close do my contract have be assignable? or can i use my buyer funds to close the deal with my seller first and then close with my buyer?
I need to know asap thanks for the help...

thanks....

Go back to the Lawyers office and tell him or her what you are trying to do. There's nothing illegal or unethical with it, so there's no reason why they won't help you out with a new cotract. Or like you said, change the one you have. All the contract does is clarify in writing what you and a seller/buyer are in agreement with in a real estate transaction.

Take out the "No Assignment" and put "this agreement is assignable" or "Buyer may assign this agreement"

But don't feel like you are doing anything sneaky and don't be afraid to tell your attorney what you're doing. They will help you out more than you think. If they try to discourage you from making money as a real estate entrepreneur (which they shouldn't), go find someone else who wants to help you.
