I live in the Valley, so I am not looking for North AZ, but I would offer this suggestion. Look online and in the phone book for Real Estate groups and when/where they meet. Attend a meeting and hob nob with a few investors. I am sure you will have great success!
I would also caution how you approach an investor. I have spoken with a few "bird dogs" in this area, and they were really not looking to be bird dogs, rather wanted to get the inside scoop on getting going. An investor is interested in working WITH a bird dog, not a investor in a bird dog suit. It isnt bad if you want to be an investor of course, but if that is the case, be honest in the things you say.
I love the Flagstaff area, very pretty and has tons of nice golf courses.

Hey BirdDog, I plan on moving to Maricopa Co. in about a month or so and would love to hook up and see what happens, I've already contacted a few investor assoc.'s and have been trying to get my name recognized there before I go. I've also joined a few websites that specialize in networking investors. Hope to see you there.

All you folks in Arizona? I thought I was only 1 of may be 2 folks. I not an investor, but dont mind starting at the beginning. I moved from Chandler a year ago and came out to Casa Grande. However I go back to Chander and Mesa everyother day. Do I smell a possible meeting coming up soon? Perhaps to organize?

This month is really tight for me as I have 3 weddings one right after another for the next few weekends. If we can meet during the week, that would be fine. I'm assuming weekends would work best for everyone.
