This is in response to a response from #6 reguarding tax lien companies.

TLA stands for Tax Lien Associates, Inc. operating out of Palm Beach, FL.

It appears to me that their focus is bulk municipal portfolio purchases. You need a $300K minimum investment to participate.

What sort of track record do they have. Have you had any involvement with them?
    Thank you for your response.

I don't know the company. $300K minimum investment is a little out of my league.

I do not use any investment company for tax lien investing. My little county in SC is too small (translate that as "too poor"wink to attract the professional investment groups. We have a tax lien sale coming up in October, and I will just have go it alone.

If I decide to go with a professional tax lien investment company to invest in tax liens outside my area, I will probably choose the Lennox Group because they have an office about 65 miles from me. If I need to, I can just go knock on the front door.

Thanks Dave for the information. TLA is in my backyard (next town) I looked at their web site and the only information on $investments that I could find was under the Investor tab, and their they say not to call them unless you have a minimum of $2,000,000. However, they were talking about expansion of their company, so I don't know if that has any bearing on purchasing liens. I wish you the best of luck at the sale. Would like to hear how you made out after.

I have tried to find ANY articles from investment magazines, newspapers etc. on the Lennox Group, but all I keep getting is another link taking me to their web site. Like to hear some unbiased information from someone! Enjoy talking with you.
