Hey Rocky,
Thanks for replying. I've recently heard of Reed but don't know if I really put any stock in him only because I've heard he bashes everyone but himself.
investorgrl,
The boot camps and the courses are a means to an end. I am sure you have learned something from them, although you could have spent your money a little more wisely. I speak, not to bash Whitney and the like, but because I believe there is a better way. The most important thing now is to take what you have learned and expand on it, then, go out there and do something. Knowledge is wasted unless put into practice. TCI and other investors are always here to help if you need us.
Thanks for all the help from all. I haven't gone to the boot camps yet. I still have a three day recission. (Maybe most people don't realize they have one). At this point I'm hoping the boot camps, if I don't cancel, will teach me more than I know. I'm so glad I stumbled on to this site.
For the life of me I can't figure out why Reed gets bashed so much. I have read his website back to front and have the information very useful. He tears apart a bunch of "get rich" quick artists and tells you to save your money.
FYI, he does recommend some people, other than himself.
Seond point, I have a challenge to all the Gurus out there (Robert Allen, Whitney, Sheets, etc.). Take Joe Smith, the guy who knows nothing about RE, and put him through their "super, secret, concentrated, ultra-profit 3 day workshop". And take Suzy Jones, the other person who knows nothing about RE, and let her surf this website for 3 days. At the end, we test them to see who knows the most and who can make money. Do you think many Guru would take me up on it?????
I agree that the boot camps are only worth if you apply what you learn. That goes for any of the courses that have them. It also depends on your goals.
Be careful too of adding to what you have in the "high" you may get from any seminar or class spend you $ wisely.
Example: My partner wanted quick cash on wholesale.....we are not in a wholesale market area. But he learned his lesson the hard and costly way - smile. Now that he has partnered with me and realised that the area we are in is an appreciation and long term investing area we are making things work. Slower than the quick cash but more profitable prospects.
Good investing to you!

Rocky,
How is Reeds material?
I think you'd get more bang for your buck by going to Vegas.
