Hi Kade
You can usually find the records at your local clerk of courts office or county comptroller...call your local county offices and ask where deeds, liens and judgement of foreclosures are filed.
one other note...when looking these up,look for Lis Pendens(litigation pending)
or NOD(notice of default)..these are the very first stage of foreclosure.
also ask if the public records are online, you may get lucky and will be able to do your research from home
hope this helps
Chris
Thanks, I apperciate it. I have wanted to start doing this for awhile now, but haven't had the time or nerve to start. I am ready to put my first baby step forward. Thanks
