What Seller Expenses Should I Anticipate?
Newbie, but not spring chicken here. My last sell and buy/sell was back about "hmm" years ago. I know things are not the same now... certainly not as simple nor as low cost. I would appreciate it if anyone could list the current (known/accepted) costs involved in the sale of a property these days. Thanks for your help! Everything is negotiable. Generally when I sell a property I pay for the following:
Deed prep $100
Transfer tax
Any curative docs
Tax proration
Sales Commision (if any)

I've had numerous people contact me concerning the land owned (without my ads or even a sign) so I think the time is soon to sell. The dedication of my time in other ways is major, therefore I'm trying to learn a lot quickly. Your reply gives me heart to grab facts as they appear. Bless you!
