What If Developer Refuses To Approve Your Offer The Buy The House?

You sign a contract to buy a home and the developer says they can not approve the offer. Do they have a right to deny your offer. Is there any recourse.

    Huh? Sorry, but I’m a little confused.

    It sounds like all you did was submit an offer to buy. If so, YES, of course they can refuse it. That’s why they call it an “offer”.

    Once you have both agreed and you have a signed Purchase Agreement in hand, it’s a different story. You may have grounds for recourse, depending on what’s in the contact. Unless, I’m missing something here??

    Well it seems the developer did not approve it. They did not sign it all. It just has my name on it. It seems since I told them I might use an inspector they were afraid of their building practices. But my friend just signed and did not say anything about inspectors but he will use one later. Just to make sure everything is up to code.

    You think they were afraid of their building practices. So people say they build great homes so say they do not. I know for certain they have had problems with mold in the past. But that was an old development. They also told me that even if they would of agreed to the contract they might not have approved my loan. Ha I can just about go to any bank and get approved. Has this happened to anyone before.

    Well I just like things to be just right. I am actually glad it was turned down. House maybe would have been full of defects. And I have had to deal with a house full of defects before and it is not pretty. I talked to one of their stock holders and they said they are going to sell their stock it is losing value anyways. An attorney friend of mine is working for them and said he sees it all the time.
