What E-books To Buy On Short Sales
Anyone have any suggestions on which books I should purchase on Short Sales? I have looked into "A Short Sale Primer" and "Making Money with Short Sales." Are there any others that I should also be considering that you all have had success with? Thanks for your input!
SSJustin,
Glad to meet you.
Here is what I know for a fact the ShortSalePro posts on this board to advise people with questions about short sales.
This should be highly taken into consideration when purchasing a course writers materials. He is giving of his time to help the new person, so why not consider his material first.

I agree wholly. I plan on purchasing his book. I have read many posts by him, and have learned a lot. Really, I'm wondering what else I should purchase in addition to his book. Thanks!
I have both of them but personally feel that MMWSS is more of a step-by-step guide to follow. The SSP has good information but it seems to have more articles and is not as organized. They are both reasonably priced at $54.99 and $38.99. The sample forms in MMWSS are also very helpful.
Thank you for your feedback guys. Much appreciated. I would like to maybe hear something from the SSPro himself about what HE thinks I should read in ADDITION to his book and MMWSS. I have a very high regard for his opinion. I mean...he IS the pro
Anyone else with input?
I have purchased several over the years and try and keep abreast. where did you find Making Money with Short Sales? I didn't see it in the shoppers category when I looked.
Most are pretty much the same as to steps etc. though some say to take the deed and others speak against it.
I like the primer for its in depth coverage and viewpoint.

Since you have asked....
Before you can play, you've got to understand the rules of the game...
Otherwise, if you don't know the rules, or where to find the rules, you've got chaos.
It's not enough to have the equipment of the game... you've got to know how the equipment is to be used in certain situations... how to make your own equipment, and when it's time to replace the equipment you've got.
You've got to understand your role... you need to know what's expected of you, and what's expected of others.
I wrote and assembled ASSP in response to the questions posted, and (avoidable) problems experienced by both newbies and seasoned investors anxious to get in on short sales.... many of whom had read other materials, attended seminars, and bootcamps but had come away with misinformation, and unrealistic expectations.
Do I recommend one over the other? No.
Read as much as you can. Only you can decide what is applicable, what makes sense, and what is little more than smoke and mirrors.
My goal in writing ASSP was to help close more deals.... the more you can learn from real life examples the better informed you will be, and the better able you will be to recognise, identify, and avoid potential dealkilling situations.
I'm not selling bootcamps or seminars. All proceeds from the sale of the ebook, and the soft cover, updated print version are dedicated to a charitable organization..
And I agree that the Ebook isn't as organized as I would have liked it to be.
But if you can grasp the essence of what's in there... you'll be better prepared to prequalify ss candidates, and execute successful short sales.

Thanks stockpro. I found MMWSS on this forum.. A bunch of people were talking about that being a good book for getting into short sales. They have a website (I can't post a url though) you can easily find it on google by typing in "short sales" should be in the advertised section.
