How Are Commercial Properties Compared

What averages are you looking for when determining a good area to invest in. Does it depend on the building type? Or just price/sq ft.?

Currently we are ONLY going to sort by what type the property type is. So Retail Space X will be competing with Retail Space Y within our stats area.

If anybody has any other suggestions, please reply to this.

Commercial properties within a given area are compared strictly on return on investment. Just prices, without at least income and ideally expense information, is not very useful.

Besides GOI. Commercial for lease generally look for price per sq ft. Commercial properties can at least compare to what other commercial properties in the area of like kind are selling for.
