Cookie Fault - Bug Or Just Ignore
I will commonly log out after spending some time on the site. I will then come back later to the same browner window and select the login button. The name and password are supplied before I do this.
I get the following error most every time
"Your username and password are CORRECT, but your computer is rejecting our cookie."
When I hit the login button a second time all is fine. It is not to the point that I expect to have to hit it twice.
I am using Safari on a Mac. There are times when the error does not happen. Such times are few and far between. Thinking back it might be times when the gap between logging out and the subsequent login is short. maybe a stale cookie or other timing issue.
Any suggestions?
If this is considered worth pursuing I am willing to try a few things if that helps isolate the issue. I was guessing that no one would really care but figured I better ask first.

Actually it is a stale cookie. If you would have closed your browser out or used the 'remember me' checkbox when you login, you wouldn't get that error.
Joel,
Thanks. I will try the 'remember me'. I had not been using it as Safari on the Mac is pretty good about filling in details from the 'keychain'.

We are all Mozilla Firefox users. They also have it for Mac as well. Check it out at www.mozilla.org
Joel,
What would you say are the biggest or most important reasons for using Mozilla?
I know the history more or less as I have friends that have worked on it over the years (a number of Netscape folks came from NeXT where I once worked).

I am a full time real estate investor part landlord, part rehab, part wholesing, etc.
Where does this fit in?
Also people may be in more than one catagory so I think people should be allowed to select several.
Just my 2 cents
Consultant, problem solver, facilitator.
closing agent, electrician, roofer
Landlord, Sub-Toer, Real Estate Guru-wanna be!

Newby, soon to be sub-to'er. I think Subto should be an option.
We will probably have a primary, secondary, and tertiary occupations.

electrician, roofer got added. We already have agents on there. Why should there be a specific occupation of "Closing Agent"??

So Rehabber will be considered as a Handyman...?
Steve
Rehabber is generally working for themselves. Handymen are generally working for other people.
May be it is better just to let people write free text instead of choosing from pre-defined list?
