I saw the signs today, and it's Homevestors. I think you just gotta buy a franchise... They're kinda strange. I've called about their houses before, they don't give ARV's, repair estimates, nothing. It took three emails to them before I ever got a response. Then the house I got a response on, they said they'd already sold it, then it stayed on their website forever, don't know as they ever DID really sale it. I figgered they just didn't want to really sale houses, so I quit looking at anything they've got listed.
Their franchise fee is $50,000.00 plus you need a minimum of $100,000.00 in working capital. Also from what I have read about them they get a 10% fee from the sale price of each house and encourage the franchise holders to do no more than 12 deals a year. It looks like to me they make the money, you take all the risk. Just my opinion.
Check out there website, It's listed on their signs.
