Warranty Deed Vs. Land Trust In Georgia
I was told that recently a new law was passed that does not allow an investor and homeowner to execute a Warranty Deed without and attorney. They call it "Kitchen Table Work". However, I was also told that a Land Trust can be executed between the investor and the homeowner. Can anyone confirm or further explain this?
I would try to confirm or refute this fact with a real estate attorney familiar with Georgia law. Just call one up and ask them.
I haven't heard of such a law, but that and a buck will still get you a cup of coffee at some restaurants.
