VP Loss Mit ~ Countrywide
I recently read a topic about submitting proposals to VP's.
Alice Attwood is the VP of Loss Mit for Countrywide conventional loans. These are all handled through their California office.
It took me seveal faxes and finally one put to the attention to Alice before I ever got anywhere on my "deal"
I am not dealing with them yet, still in the BK stage

Do you have a fax info the Countrywide Loss Mitigation dept? What kind of deal are you trying to work with them? Thanks a lot for sharing.
Alright, I have done my homework,and following is what I have learned!!
VA Countrywide:
Loss Mit. 800-262-4218
Customer Service: 800-669-6607 or 800-669-2443
Fax for ALL correspondence:
805-306-7139 (Anything you fax to them should be sent to this fax, as the sole purpose of the people on the other end is to retrieve from fax machine and input into their computer system ~ they take very good notes, so should we!!)
They also gave me a fax number of 805-520-5213 but I was given the run around and told they didn't receive items, until I sent it to the correspondence number. So, DON'T use this number.

I have a high end home that I am trying to get for my personal residence. I was working with both Loss Mit and the BK. dept. Once I sent a fax attention to Alice Attwood, things started moving. (Most likely a coincedence!) I noticed a mistake that the attorney's for Countrywide made. There is now a motion to lift the stay submitted by Countrywide and un-opposed by the homeowner. Countrywide is now telling me that they want me to submit my proposal to the BK dept. I am thoroughly confused about this. I will be sending it in on Thursday. I was told if I mail it, it will take forever to get a response, and that I should fax it in. I hope that they aren't trying to pull a fast one over on me!!
You listed "VA Countrywide". Does this mean they only deal with VA loans?? The reason I'm asking is that I have different phone numbers than the ones you listed. The fax I have is 805-306-7111 with the loss mit. number as 877-744 7691.

No, I don't mean that they only deal with VA loans. Only that the VA dept of Countrywide is handled in CA.
Alice Attwood is no longer the VP of Loss Mit. My latest contact person is Jeannie Cooper. ext. 3730 They said that Alice is "No longer with us"
