Virtual RE Investments

Are there any virtual RE investment sights, similar to virtual stock exchange?

If not whats a good way to "do" a deal without interest in it, kind of ghosting deals?

Thanks

I would think you would be able to find an investor to 'shadow' for a deal or two. Find a mentor and I think you will find what your looking for.

It is one of the basic rules of real estate that each parcel is unique. Therefore a "virtual market" like you are suggesting would be meaningless. This is not true in the stock market. All shares of General motors are exactly the same as each other. Therefore it is possible to track the sale of each share as if it were the sale of any other sale.

In addition because real estate is, for the most part, a hand's on management situation even tracking the sale price of a given parcel over time doesn't mean very much. With a different owner the parcel would have been managed differently and the prices would reflect that management.

Sorry, as the man at the carnival used to say to me all the time, "youse pays youse money and youse take youse chances". The game doesn't start until you are involved. And the nature of your involvement is a part of the game.

Ghosting with a "professional" seems to be the best help- thanks
