Verbal Agreement
my husband was offered a partnership in a casino buisness here in montana, the man who offered him the partnership wouldnt have a contract drawn up, he was to buisy , he was sick ..... my husband opened poker rooms and ran them fully for "the partnership" . my husband took care of the bills , bar tabs, customers, everything while his "partner" just split profits earned 50/50 with my husband. this had gone on for 5 months before this guy told my husband he didnt need him anymore and that he was fired. A: can you fire a said partner like that, we thought you had to buy out your partner in circumstances like that. B: how do we go about getting half of whats ours? i did the books for this said "partnership" for the past two months and was never compensated for that either. do we have any leagal standing and if so how do we go about getting it?
