VA Property Rules
I know you can purchase up to a 4 unit property with VA funding for rental purposes. I know you have to move into one of the units of the property within 60 days of purchase. Is there a way around this ,and or can a family member move in, and or what if you dont move into the property but leave a unit vacant, and you vacation in it a few times a year? Does this home have to be a primary home ?
My understanding of this would allow you, If you have an adult (Dependant Child, Say a full time student, that you claim as a dependant on your taxes) live there instead of you. But This I'm not 100% sure of.
