Using Trucks With Adevrizement - Your Thoughts...

Hello. I am considering setting up a truck advertizement involving getting a truck painted with "We Buy Houses".

What is the cheapest way to go about it?

Does anybody use this form of advertizement and what is the resonse in terms of leads?

Thanks very much,

Alexander.

Are you referring to a working truck that moves all around? Or, one of those non-working trailers that you sometimes see parked along the freeway with signs painted on them?

I have experimented with this idea several times. My best results were friends with mini-vans, box trucks that were in need of some paint. In exchange for there cooperation I had the car economically painted i.e. "Earl Shieb" and then paited a slogan and mu 800 number. The results are the best durring the summer months. Several time people have actuly flaged down vehicles. My one buddy is now carring flyer/biz cards to pass along. He has even put his name on the flyers and is asking for a finders fee which I'll gladly pay on those deals that close......

    godiva,

I would go with a simple, personal look in your mailings. A personal letter from you to a homeowner is going to be the most effective.

I have sent out mailings on ripped out legal pad pages because it looks like it is more personal.

If you send enveloped mail, do not put your business name in the return address. Use a personal name or no name at all. Using a business name increases your chances that it will get chucked in the garbage without being opened.

Also, don't use labels when you address. By far the preferable method is to hand address the envelope. If this is cost-prohibiitve, then print directly on the envelope in a typewriter (courier) font.

    Hope that helps,

    Jason
