I am a Licensed Private Detective in NJ. I can begin by telling you that obtaining an unlisted phone # can be done. As a matter of fact it is so easy, without breaking any state laws, that it is scary. We use a series of CD's in our office that we have found have many non-pubs listed. Not all non pubs will show, just a few. These CD's are updated quarterly. The great thing is that you can do multiple searches including entire nieghborhood searches by entering one address. you can get the # of the neighbor to the right, left, across the street ... This is just one option. If you e-mail me I can give you the name of the CD's and give you some simple tips that I'm sure will work. Again, this is totally legal. If it were not, I would not share it with you.
