Trying To Get Feedback, Not Advertising!
My earlier post soliciting feedback on a realty agency that works with investors was deleted because it was deemed advertising.
Can you suggest an alternative way that I can find out if anyone has had dealings with this agency and whether it was a positive or negative experience?
I don't really understand how trying to get feedback on a product I personally have never used, can be classified as advertising. If the inclusion of their website was the trouble, then I can certainly leave it out - I provided it for clarification purposed because there is another agency with the same name which is also in Florida and I did not want to get the two confused.
Clarification would be appreciated.

A real estate agency is NOT a product.
It is a business. I suggest you contact the better business bureau in your local area to get feedback on companies.
If we start using the forums for feedback on such request then we can get into all sorts of problems.
Who is to decide that complaints are valid.........and if they are not.....does this not adversely effect the company in question.
The forums are here to assist investors on issues related to the topic headings.
I hope I am not coming over cross............we just do not want the forums to be a catch all for questions that are not related to the forum headings.
For others that can not find your posts.....look at your "MC TCI" and look at your last 10 post etc.......we moderators may move them to other forums in which they apply.
We try to send emails when we do such but alas we are human.

Okay. Now I am even more confused!
On the past postings: I have no idea what you're talking about. Each one is posted in the appropriate forum. "Section 8" has everything to do with landlording. The "capital gains" question is in the tax strategy forum. The "signature" question was directly related to a short sale and was posted in the short sale forum. "Flipping new construction" is in the Wholesaler forum which states that the messages there should be about buying low and flipping. What am I missing here?
You're right. A realty is not a product per say, but the people who work there and the quality of their service - surely that is something that someone who has had first-hand experience with can share with fellow investors?
How can we have postings discussing the merits and downfalls of various gurus and their programs, yet no allow the same kind of commentary on a realty. I wasn't asking anyone to complain - I wanted a frank first-hand experience account. Not sure how this would get anyone in trouble. Many, many stories shared on this website are all about first-hand experiences and opinions. Many of them, I notice, are in direct opposition to one another because of the "subjective" nature of any and all experiences that people have with tenants, banks, brokers, other investors, etc.
Also, if you do some closer research on the BBB, you might learn that they are not quite as objective as consumers are led to believe. There are lots of stories online of how BBB abuses their status as a "consumer watchdog". So, even though "check with the BBB" is a pat answer that's somehow designed to help consumers like me, I think I would still prefer the opinion of a fellow investor who has nothing to lose or gain by sharing an opinion on a site such as this.
I understand that TCI doesn't want to promote or defame anyone/thing, but if people aren't allowed to express an opnion, good or bad, what's the point?

posherov,
Glad to meet you.
Your post was deleted because you gave a link to a business.
NC called it and is right your Better Business Bureau could tell you more than anyone on this web site could about a local business.
Sometimes "plant" posters also try to get it on with have you heard about Joe Guru's course and what do you think. I found him at www.joeguru.ad
So you can see if it were allowed, this stie would have more ads than posts helping investors.
Keep posting since I am the one who deleted your post, I took it as a borderline post, only I did not allow it across the border.
