To Form A Corp / LLC On Your Own Or Not To????
Should you form a Corp or LLC yourself or use an attorney, that is the question.
I have heard both pros and cons for either way.
What do you think?

I formed my LLC by using a pretty good website. (do a search, you'll find them-or email me privately) I was happy with their services. Then I spoke to my attorney about making sure that it stays legal. The online service only cost me about $300 and they did it all and sent me a nice binder containing stocks to issue, etc. It's only paperwork. Make sure first of what you need to do, then do it yourself. I, personally, formed a Delaware LLC. You can split it for as many properties as you have, so that each one is held seperately and can't be sued for the other.
the legal cost of incorporating or forming a simple n LLC is pretty small these days and there are numerous firms that do just that. Amerilawyer is a firm that I've used in the past and the cost for incorporation was like $100 (for Florida) and $350 for the LLC. There are other firms like this. Run a search on yahoo or google.
I have a friend who set up his own corp for about $50.
A few years later when his company was bigger a lawyer was looking through his docs and pointed out all the ways that he could be found personally liable because of things that were overlooked.
I opted to have an attorney do mine. I got the electronic docs from him and will "clone" them and use that paperwork for my next LLC and do it the $50 way.
Although I've read a fair amount about them, I didn't want to risk it.
