Tingle Vs. Locke

Any thoughts on these two courses? They both seem very good at what they do, and I know Locke is well respected here (and deservedly so).

Has anyone purchase the William Tingle course?

Thanks.

    I actually have both.

They both have very different investing criteria.

John goes more towards the newer houses. Easier to purchase with "uhaul" money since not much equity. John also has a presentation one can learn. 24/7 phone support.

Tingle focuses on higher equity deals. Tingle supports people through his website. He posts answers pretty quickly.

Now as to whom you should pick? I don't know. That would be up to you and what your investing criteria is. No one can help you with that. Something you will have to figure out yourself if you already haven't.[ Edited by tbelknap on Date 05/18/2004 ]

All I can say is that John Locke's course is a goldmine... Although I don't have the tingle course, I haven't heard much about it, I would say that John Locke's course is well worth purchasing!! He gives you ideas, ads, examples, 24/7 phone support (from the man himself), and quite a presentation. I am not putting Tingle down, I don't know anything about his course, but I do recommend getting the Locke course if not both!

    Good Luck!

I, as well, have both...well not really.

I have William's course (excellent) however, as I've said before here...I do NOT have John's course.
I do have his manual though. Takes you step-by-step from begining to end and what EXACTLY to say to sellers.
But, as you know, the John's manual is different from his course. I've heard it's great as well....I need to check it out soon myself.

As I have learned over the past few months, they do have different methods/"styles" of sub2 investing.
Both are VERY effective in their teachings and know what they're doing.

John has always been there when I've had a question..either in email, PM (no longer :-x ), his $Cash Now$ website, or on his cell phone...something you get when you purchase his manual and/or course.
William has also been VERY supportive and helpful to me as well.

    I recommend both.
If you can only afford one, then it all comes down to how you want to do your sub2 deals...like I said -- 2 different methods. (READ THE POST ABOVE)

    Hope this helps.

Why would you want second best when you can learn at the feet of "THE MASTER" ?

Why would you want to do the same amount of work for LESS PAY/equity?

The problem as I see it :

People don't always want what they need.

Most people WANT to be shown (as simply as possible) exactly what to do to make ez money. But what people NEED to know even more is WHY you do something and when to do it, that leads to wisdom.

IMHO, both of these courses sell you on what you want to HEAR,. Lockes course has specifics on what to do EXACTLY. Tingles course deals more with the big picture. Although both tend to overlap.

You should get every bit of information you can get on Subject 2 and get in the KNOW!

Don't be afraid to invest in your own education. It is NEVER a waste of money.
