Tenant Was Robbed: What Does Landord Do?

I have a tenant whose home was broken into and items were stolen. What responsibility, if any, do I have as a Landlord?



The house has deadbolts, all necessary locks and standard security features. It also has a leased security alarm system that the tenant chose not to activate when they moved in.



I just want to be sure that i am not culpable for any responsibility here. I am proceeding to repair the broken door jamb as quickly as I can. Is there anything else I should be doing? Do I let my insurance company know abnout this? Am I obligated to report this to future prospective tenants?
