Tell Me Your 1st Deal Stories
I posted this on the newbie board, but since I want to get in to rehabs, I thought it might get more milage here.
I just want to hear the sucesses and failures of your first deals. Scary? How long til you got it together? DETAILS!
My first rehab is on the market. So far the experience was not too bad considering I partnered with someone who was to fix up and we'd split the profits. Oh, and it was long distance. I am in San Diego, the property is in Illinois.
The unfortunate part is that the market is slow right now so profits are getting gobled up by carrying costs.
My next venture is L/Os in AZ.
