Would I use type "N" or type "S" mortar for a chimney? Thanks, Chris
Check these two sites out.... http://www.cement.org/masonry/cc_mortar_types.asp http://www.taunton.com/finehomebuilding/how-to/articles/mortar-what-type-need.aspx[ Edited by jam200 on Date 12/04/2007 ]
Thank you! That was exactly what I needed. The answer is type "N", although type "S" is acceptable. Since I have 15 bags of type "N" mortar, this is what I wanted to hear! Thanks again, Chris
