Hi Joel and congratulations on setting the place and date.

Joel are you going to have a couple of times set aside for people to just get together and talk with no set speaker etc?

You know sort of like a mixer with perhaps our board names on a tag so we can identify each other.

    Just a couple suggestions.

    Thanks

I am sure a lot of people are aware of the board game called "Cash Flow." What would you think about having a Cash Flow Tournament?

I think it would be a great opportunity for people to learn the game, have genuine interaction with other investors, and really test the skills of some of these "Cash Flow" gurus.

    This topic is branching....O well.

the Cash Flow tournament isn't a bad idea, but it will NOT show who is the best investor. Too much is left to what you role, and what cards you draw. Real life does not share those limitations. Additionally, you know the range of the stock trades, which also is not true to life.

The game teaches you the basics of investing, but is not meant to be a tournament-style game.

    On the topic of cost...

My wife will most likely come, and want to go to four or five classes, but not all of them like me. It would be nice to have a spouse punch card or something that allowed them into 6 or so classes. Just a thought.

That is a great idea hibby76!

Instead of chastising anyone who writes a course, here is the game i would like to play called:

"Why haven't you made it yet?"

other people have made it with the material and methods available from some very creative course writers who have helped hundreds if not thousands of investors become successful.

If you want to play a game of luck then I should order up a Black Jack table for the convention if everyone wants to play a game, because for the majority of people without the correct creative real estate investing knowledge and how to apply this knowledge they might as well play a Las Vegas table game, the odds are better.

Instead of this negativity (and you know who I am referring to) what would benefit the majority of people who attend,
I would think a round table with course writers and pro investors to answer questions and help the new investor would be a great idea.

Keeping it postive with creative real estate educational ideas separates the game players and doomsayers from the real pro's in this great industry.

    Hello John,

I bought your course, believe it is GREAT and am currently Bird Dogging for Derick here in Orlando, so I DO believe in learning from others. I am looking forward to meeting you and the other usual suspects.

    Thank you.

    http://www.Mr.Mike,

You offered to help, which is much appreciated, I don't consider this negative at all.

As a matter of fact I thought you could help deal the Black Jack game.

My main thrust here is let's keep this positive, one way of doing this is to let people know up front that we are trying to help here rather than let the negativity set in.

I look forward to meeting you all and learning. To me the price of $400 or possibly even less for 5 days is a GREAT price.
