What Do I Do Next
i just saw a public notice for what i think is a sheriff tax sale. This is the info i know so far. The property is a semi-vacant site. Probably has a shack or shed on it. The area is prime and upcomming. Homes in this area are selling for 400K+ on the same size lot. I know the assesd value of the property. The property is filled with potiental. I need to know what is my next step. it seams like it is the typical divorce non tax payment case. Names on the deeds have changed numerous times. Do I now contact the lawyer representing the home owner. Do I contact the sheriff office or do I just wait for the auction and make my move. Please someone help. 
Contact anyone you can find to get more information. Lokks as if you need to find the current owner info. first and go from there. Start at the county courthouse or whereever they file deeds in your county.
