Im just starting out investing in tax liens.
Im in the New England area. Is the best way to find out if each town has tax lien sales is to call the tax office in each town ?
My understanding is that in Mass., tax sales can be conducted by both counties (rural) and cities - so it's hard. Wouldn't they publish it in the paper? but this is part of why I'm beginning to get discouraged about this. I live in Maine - NO tax lien sales - have called about 10 places in NH, not having any luck finding any place there that does it either. If you do find anything, let me know - but I'm beginning to wonder if I will have to wait til I move away to start this. I know I can travel out-of-state to get to auctions - but that would eat up all the profits!
