PA Tax Deed - Buying Redemption Rights
I am almost completely ignorant when it comes to Tax Deed sales but I have accumulated a bit of information and have a few questions.
I have read that in Pennsylvania there are only Tax Deed sales. No Tax Lien Sales. There is a redemption period of two years for the property. Sales take place once a year around September so one should have just occured.
Is anyone buying the redemption rights on these properties and redeeming for ownership? How are the other liens handled in this situation (previous mortgages)?
I have been unable to find an online version of the PA code. Does anyone have a link to get me there?
Also, where would you find the results of the sales?
If all of the stars align themselves properly this could get pretty interesting when combined with a few other techniques of buying.
