Help! I Need A MD Lawyer Familiar With Tax Leins And Foreclosure

Hello fellow investors,
I just recently bought a tax lein certificate in Baltimore. I' m having a hard time finding a lawyer who knows about tax leins and the foreclosure process. Any reccommendation anyone has would be helpful or if any one could point me in the right direction. Thanks wink

I just graduated law school at UM so I cannot give you advice. However, I would go to the baltimore city circuit courthouse and review a file of a "forclosure of right of redemption" That is the action you will need to file. Thee are time limits (6 months) that say when you can file the action and a drop dead date (2 years) by which time you must file the action. If you want to take a ride up to Hagerstown I could show you a file - I am clerking at the Circuit Court there.

    Hi,
You can access the maryland daily record(get the url by going to google) and pull up the public notices. There are a ton of public notices. Just read through them and look for a tax sale public notice-there are tons of them listed you have to look through them all. The attorneys name is listed who files the redemption. I would list some of them for you but it might get deleted....
