Beginners Books about investing in Tax Liens??
Hey,
After reading Robert Allen's book, "Multiple Streams of Income", and Kiyosaki "RDPD", I have definitely game some interest in the purchasing of tax liens. I wanted to know if there are other sources, be it books or courses, that would provide more indepth information on tax lien purchases. Who specifically in a county would I need to talk with to get more information on particular state/county laws?
Thanks

There is a book callled "16% Solution" which was written back in 94. So the law portion is pretty outdated. However, the beginning portion of the book gives you a good idea of what tax liens are and what they are not. I would recommend you take an afternoon and hang out at the library or go to the bookstore, you can read the beginning section right there. Forget about the various state laws in the back, they are definitely OUTDATED.
I would recommend a CD by Seventh Financial Group, which you can check out at:

It seems to be the most extensive work out there at the time giving an overview on each of the states for TLC.
John Beck offers a great course on Tax Liens, Tax Certificates, and Tax Deeds. It is very informative and contains pretty much anything you want to know. It is titled "John Beck's Free & Clear" and it costs $56.89 tax included. You can order it at: John Beck's Free & Clear
