Tax Sale Clear State Tax Liens?
Can someone confirm that in California, the Tax sale (deed) clears State Tax liens on the property?
I am reading the County Tax Collector's manual and Chapter 8161 saids that "If the taxing agency does not, before the date of sale, file an objection ot the sale, its liens are canceled by the sale and it is entiteled to its proper share of the proceeds deposited in the delinquent tax sale trust fund."
