Tax Lein Vs. Medicaid Lein
I have looked at a house owned by an older couple in Texas. He is now in a retirement home, while she is trying to sell the house. Medicaid has put a lein on the house to help subsidize their bills. I was told that effective just a few months ago, Medicaid has first priority over all leins. Is this true, being an exception to tax leins having first priority?thanx - Scott

Have you done a google search on the topic? I'd recommend that as the first step.
The second step might be to consult with one of the attorneys at one of the law firms that do the tax sale lawsuits for the taxing entities in Texas.
