SUCCESSFUL SHORT! Follow Up Post

Hi there.

Don’t recall the previous subject line but SSP helped me by challenging my thinking re: SS in general. Long story short,

FMV $170k
1st $97k + arrears
2nd $24k + arrears

One would wonder why any lender would consider a short. WELL, the 2nd agreed to take $3400 & give me a release by June 30th (yeah!!!!). I have to make sure they will consider this paid in full (no deficiency judgement). I, like many of you, was VERY skeptical about the #’s I was putting on the table, but our success speaks to the current market (GA) & a no holds barred letter (“look they’ve been in & out of foreclosure for 2 years….”).

Nothing beats a fail but a try!

ok, back to work...I'm trying to buy everything I can get in NYC (4 boros).
