"Subject To" Vs "Contract For Deed" Vs "On Contract"
Can someone please explain to me the differences between buying property "subject to" and "contract for deed" and "buying on contract"????
In Louisiana I hear contract for deed. In Indiana they talk about buying on contract. The real estate gurus talk about buying subject to.
Are they different or the same???????????????
If you buy a property subject to and the seller has to file bankruptcy, what happens to the property you bought subject to?
