John Lockes Products....
Hello all, new to the biz...really anxious in learning the subject to stradegy. From what I have read, John's products are the going thing here. He has 2 products
ie: Subject To Training Manual and the Subject To Training Course. I am sure people are going to say get the course and others say get the manual, one of my questions is in the Subject To Training manual do you get contracts and how and which ones to use. Does he explain if they can be used in Cali., from what I understand Cali. has really strict laws. As far as the negoitiating I should'nt have any problem my only worry is the contract aspects.Well thats it for now and I look forward to your responses, have a great weekend and thanx again...
The course and the manual contain contracts, and the recommendation to have them reviewed by a competent Real Estate Attorney and have them modified as needed to make them specific to your state.
Both come highly recommended.
Good luck,
Jeff
I am in the same boat. I want the training tools for more information, but could I get by with only purchasing the training manual?
I'm looking to make money, so I can't get the coarse do to the amount it cost.
So, is the manual filled with enough information and contract material to get started???
obviously the course is more complete. I have not purchased my course yet. The manual however gives you material for a great beginning. It also comes with John's cell phone number and access to his sub2 website.
Lots of information to get you going.
Jeff
I will ditto Andy, and will probably end result get the coarse( great deal because if you bought the manual the coarse is price discounted) I am only into it 3 months, but have things rolling and the oportunities are starting to fall into place.
I have called John numerous times with questions, and he has always took the time to answer and give guidence to my needs. I'm glad to have joined the $Cashclub$

"I bought just the manual, and yes, you can get started with it alone. I've had other JL students tell about how the course gives them a real jump-start (the course includes the manual, so we're all using the same material), but, like you, I went for the lower cost option.
Other than a birddog flip, I'm still working on my first deal (6 months in), but using the manual, I've:
- formed my business
- learned the presentation and given it about 10 times to prospective sellers
- created a direct mail campaign that gets me leads who call me
- learned how to do due diligence
- gotten my contracts in order (used the manual ones and had them reviewed for state correctness by attorney)
- met John Locke personally (at the TCI convention in FL this year)--he really is there for his students
- got off my **s and started doing something to rid myself of my J.O.B.!
Andy"
get the manual. its good
Get the course its better.
If you can swing the extra bucks get the course. The CD's are great for listening while driving to work or out doing errands. I bought the course and in the process of getting my first deal. John's course really got me jump started and on my way. Thanks CA$H.
