How Can I Get The Escrow Impounds?

Heres the story:



Bought a house via warranty deed for $500, then reinstated the 1st DTR. A month later sold the property. When we close, the escrow impound will be sent to the note holder, not me as the owner of record. Any thoughts on how I can reclaim the escrow impound? Get the owner to sign something?

    You shoudl have received their power of attorney...

    Change the mailing address with the lender to your address, the checks will come to you and then you can atleast have a bargaining chip with the seller to come sign them over..

    may be for a small signing fee...

    Being new to Sub2, I did not get the Power of Atty. Would this be a P of A just for this DTR? or how is it worded?
