Buying At The Auction/ Too Good Of A Deal?
I found a house. Original loan is 21.000
Now owed 20.000 I wonder if there is a primery morgage on the house? Called the lawer representing the bank. He didn't give me any info about if Title is clear or not. What si my next step? What is the best and the cheapest way to check for secondary liens or taxes due? I only have one week before the auction. I can't get hold of the owener.
Do you have a title company or attorney you work with regularly? If so, they should be able to check the title for you.
