80 Year Old House
hi guys im new here~im trying to sell my house~when it was surveyed i was told it was good, now the buyer has had it surveyed and it shows my garage hanging 18" onto my neighbors property. this house is 80 yrs old~there has never been a legal complaint filed. its in a historical district and im getting the runaround. the issue is the potential buyer wants to add to the garage, whatever happened to the grandfather law?
the house is insured by my title company, theyve told me its in good standing, however the potential buyer wants me to sign a five yr indemnity clause absolving him of any future reprecussions. im in fort myers fl. this garage has been like this for 80 yrs.
any thoughts are more than appreciated
