"Subject to" course by John $CASH$

Hello investors,

i am planning to buy the course by John Locke and I need to know some feedback on it. EX: does it cover contracts? IF SO, then are they usable in State of Florida or do i have to have attorney review them in florida?

can anyone send me a TOC of the course?

comes with CDs? I like audio.

thanks a lot, hrash

    hrash,

My opinion of Generic Paperwork is do not use it from anyones course.

The State Statutes are laws passed by the legislators in your State, they do not apply anywhere but where you live. So having an Attorney review the paperwork supplied with my course to make sure that they comply with the real estate laws of your State is very good advice.

When a person gets serious about this business then they treat it like a business, I don't know of any business I would start that I would not seek professional help albiet an Attorney or Tax Advisor.

When CD's and Cassettes start answering an investors questions when asked like "Mr. CD how do I put this deal together?" then I will put some together, until then you get my cell phone number a password protected web site to ask questions and get real life answers.

Just the way I do things, looking forward to hearing from you.

I just got John's "subject to" manual along with a hand written note from John with his cell phone number,... so I can vouch for his claims.

I can't put the manual down, it delivers on every promise and you won't be disappointed with the purchase. I think it is a plan of action that every "newbie" or "subto" investor should have on their resouce shelf.

I also like audio items, but I wouldn't change this manual for the world.

Good luck to you and thanks John!!

    excellent ...

the course comes with 90 days free email with John. How much is email consultation after that(just curious)?

I may not actually get started as soon as i receive the course(get going a couple of months afterwards. Would I have lost my 90 days worth of email consultation OR the 90 days clock starts after the first email consultation? ( sorry if i am digging into this too much)

  • JohnLocke4th June, 2003

    hrash,

I have changed that to FREE LIFETIME email, so if you ever need help, I am available.

Ask away, any investment you make in any course, the course writer should answer your questions to help you make the right decision.

    John's sub2 Manual = AAA+
This is the most exiting RE reading I've done yet. I may look into other reading material from John just because it's so straight-cut how-to-do information. Very happy I found this site.

I know you guys have heard a lot, but I have to tell my experience. I got subject-to last Friday, and I truly believe this is the best investment in REI I have made so far and it is highly possible it is the best I will ever make.
It is a step-by-step manual, so well done that even a RE dummy like me can understand.
    Thanks John!

Does the book go through presenting offers to sellers that make them want to go the subject to route, i.e get rid of the fear of the mortgage not being paid and their credit ruined. Do you always make a back up offer of a L/O?

  • JohnLocke29th June, 2003

    dwierman,

    Glad to meet you.

When you follow the presentation in my manual the sellers are selling you on why you should buy their house.

I do not do L/O's no matter what the situation, I will pass on the deal before I would even consider an L/O.

Welcome a board this board, guess you can tell I am not a fan of the L/O method of investing.

Need to wait 2 weeks for next paycheck to consider getting this course. Looking forward to it.

  • nyreinvestor29th June, 2003

I HAD ORDERED JOHNS BOOK ABOUT 2 OR 3 WEEKS AGO I SKIMMED THROUGH UIT A FEW TIMES UNTIL 2 DAYS AGO I SAT DOWN AND READ IT

IT WAS DEFINATLY WORTH IT IT REALLY DOES COVER AND EXPLAIN THE SUB 2 METHOD OF RE THERES CONTRACTS AND OTHER FORMS IN THERE WHICH TAKES THE GUESS WORK OUT OF MAKING YOUR OWN, WHICH ANY FORMS SHOULD BE REVEIWED BY A LAWYER
    OVERALL GREAT BOOK

  • vodka30th June, 2003

I am going to order John's Book with my next paycheck. I am intrigued by other types of investing that I want to get into. This would be a great. My question to you experienced Sub-2 investors is how does this work in a hot market? In other words, wouldnt an owner just sell his house on the open market (if its hot) rather than someone just offering the person a sub-2? I am in Nj and the market is starting to slow down a little, but its still pertty hot.
    TIA.

Either John has a heck of a lot of REI investors in his family that post on this site, or his book is really that good. I am betting on the latter.

This thread makes a great sales letter for his book. The best part is he didn't have to write it himself.

I am going straight to the Shop, do not pass go, pay my $150. Can't wait to read it!

    Jason

P.S. Won't it be great someday to be in John's spot and just help others to my heart's content.[ Edited by jvano on Date 06/30/2003 ]
