Subdivisions

Hi:
Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, BUT, can anyone tell me how I can find out what subdivision a certain property is in? I have tried both of the online resources for my county with no luck. I have also tried to look on various maps, and cannot find enough detail. Is there a website I could visit for this information? I need this info because there is a way to view deeds/liens online in my county, but you need the subdivision info to do it.
All suggestions are appreciated!

if you have a legal description it will tell you exactly what subdivision

"lot 1 in prairie view plat 1, know included in and forming a part of your city, county, state..."

Not all properties are in a subdivision. I have come across many that did not have an address, did not have a subdivision, etc.

    Try: www.Realtor.com

If a property is not in a "subdivision" then it is either in the original city, which will still likely have a plat # for you, or in an unplatted portion of the area. The resources you are trying to use are likely asking for the plat name.
